2026 Special Election: Vice President

TX CEC's strength relies on its members. This is your opportunity to play a part in our community of professionals dedicated to the success and well-being of children and youth with disabilities and/or gifts and talents. Help shape the future of TX CEC by participating in our board special election.

The special election to fill the Vice President position on the Board of Directors will open on September 21 and close at 11:59 pm ET, October 2. The elected candidate will serve in the TX CEC Presidential Line: Vice President → President-elect → President → Past President for one year each, totalling a four-year term, beginning October 15, 2026.
 

How to Vote

All members with an email on file as of Sept. 21 will be sent an email with the electronic ballot form to vote on September 21. The ballot will also be included on the TX CEC website.

• YOUR MEMBER ID NUMBER IS REQUIRED.
• You may select only one candidate.
• Ballots must be received no later than 11:59 pm CT, October 2, 2026.
